As soon as you start using your smartphone, you should definitely make sure to set a new PIN to unlock the device.

1. Once a PIN has been set up, the device can be used. Of course, you can also skip this step at your own discretion.
2. To change the PIN afterwards, you must first go to the settings of the Huawei P Smart.
3. There, navigate to "Security & Privacy" and tap on the item "Screen lock & Passwords".
4. On the screen lock button, you can now select both "PIN" and "Password".
5. Now enter the previously created PIN to confirm the change to the new PIN.

Huawei P Smart: SIM-Karten-PIN ändern

1. Für absolute Sicherheit können Sie ebenfalls den PIN Ihrer SIM-Karte ändern.
2. Wechseln Sie dazu erneut in die Einstellungen unter „Sicherheit & Datenschutz“.
3. Dieses Mal geht es unter „Mehr“ zu „SIM-Sperre einrichten“.
4. Tippen Sie nun auf „SIM1/SIM2-Sperre einrichten“ und bestätigen Sie mit Ihrem PIN.
5. Unter „SIM-Karten-PIN ändern“ können Sie den PIN anpassen.
