Disable photo sync

  1. Open the settings on your iOS device.
  2. Tap on your name at the top of the view.
  3. Then select the "iCloud" menu.
  4. Tap on Photos. Here you will then see various setting options. Use the switch to the right of the "iCloud Photos" entry to disable synchronization.
  5. You can also disable the "My Photo Stream" and "Shared Albums" functions here.

You can also disable the synchronization of your photos from the computer. To do this, visit the iCloud website. Log in there with your credentials and click on "Photos". Then deactivate the photos from your iOS device.
