Cancel AOL - how to end your contract

To end your contract commitment with AOL, there are two different ways. That's because AOL makes a difference between whether you want to cancel an old Internet access or a service. We'll tell you both ways.

How to cancel a web service from AOL

AOL makes a difference when it comes to cancellation, as the provider now no longer provides Internet or DSL connections. Due to this, you have to go different ways.

1. Log in to AOL with your credentials.
2. Under the sub-item "Subscriptions" you will find all your liabilities.
3. Next to each entry you will see a button titled "Manage". Click on it.
4. Now you will see an overview from which you can select "Cancel" and then click "Cancel my subscription". Confirm the entry and you will see from what time your cancellation is effective.
5. If you want to delete the entire account, click on your profile.
6. There you will see an overview of all management options. Then click on "Delete my account." Follow the instructions to make the deletion final.
