Zoom: End-to-end encryption
Since the end of 2020, Zoom offers the possibility to use video meetings with end-to-end encryption. This feature gives you additional security and increases the protection of your data, especially for confidential video conferences. You can find out how here.
How activating end-to-end encryption works on Zoom
By activating end-to-end encryption, Zoom's security is increased even further. With these steps, you as a user enable end-to-end encryption:- Log in to Zoom and navigate to Settings.
- Click on "Meeting" and within the menu click on "Security"
- Check if the "Allow use of end-to-end encryption" feature is enabled. If not, enable encryption by clicking "Turn on".
- To complete the process, click "Save".
