Using Apple Music in the browser - how it works

While Apple makes its music streaming app Apple Music available for use on Android devices as well, there is no dedicated app for browser use yet. With a third-party app, you can still use Apple Music in the browser. Read how this is possible.

Is it possible to use Apple Music in the browser?

Apple Music is not only available for iOS devices like iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, but also for Windows PCs and Android smartphones. However, Apple does not yet have an in-house solution for using Apple Music in the browser. Here you only have the option of installing iTunes on your PC or Mac and thus access your favorite songs from Apple Music.

With this app you can use Apple Music in the browser

To bypass the installation of iTunes on your computer, there is since the release of the web app Musish, a way to use Apple Music directly in the browser after all. In this case, it is not necessary to install the application on your PC, but it is sufficient to call the app under "musi.sh".
  1. To connect the Musish app to Apple Music, first click on the "Connect to Apple Music" button and enter your email address.
  2. Then click on the arrow icon, enter your password and confirm it with the "Enter" button.
  3. Now unlock your smartphone and tap "Allow" there. You will then be shown a confirmation code, which you please type into the corresponding field in the browser window.
  4. After you have confirmed the entry of the code with "Allow", the pop-up window will close automatically and your Apple Music music library will be displayed.
