If you want to change your Windows password, you can do it from the Control Panel and your user account. Another option is to use a command that you run from the command line in Windows.
  1. Log in to your PC as an administrator.
  2. Press the Windows key and the "R" key at the same time. Then the "Run" box opens.
  3. Then enter "cmd" in the text box and press the "Enter" key. Now opens the command line or command prompt from Windows.
  4. Then enter the command "net user" in the command line. Confirm this afterwards with the "Enter" key.
  5. It displays all the names of the user accounts that are on this computer.
  6. Now type the command "net user "your username"". Ersetzen Sie „Ihr Benutzername“ mit dem gewählten Namen des Kontos, von dem Sie das Passwort abändern möchten.
