How to insert a link in your Instagram bio

If you want to link to a website via your Instagram profile, the platform offers a special feature. With this, you can easily share a link within your Instagram bio with your followers.

1. First, go to the Instagram app on your smartphone. Alternatively, you can also access it through your browser.
2. Log in with your account if you haven't already.
3. Now click on the profile icon and select the "Edit Profile" button.
4. Now between "Username" and "Profile" you will find another area labeled Website.
5. Insert into the field the desired URL that leads to the linked website. Note that you do not have to write http:// in front of it in the URL. Instagram will automatically recognize the input as a URL and will automatically insert this part.
6. Finally, click "Save".
