Using Runtastic on Apple Watch - how to do it

Runtastic is a fitness app that allows you to track your sporting activities. In doing so, Runtastic also offers its own social media page where you can share your success with friends. Most recently, Runtastic is also available for the Apple Watch, so tracking works even better.

How to use Runtastic on the Apple Watch?

Runtastic on the Apple Watch offers the advantage that you don't have to have your phone with you all the time while exercising. Your data is stored on the watch and then synced with your phone as soon as it's nearby again.
  1. In order to install the app, iOS 11 and watchOS 4 are required.
  2. Go to the App Store and download the Runtastic app for the Apple Watch.
  3. Note that the Countdown, Live Tracking, Interval Training, Voice Coach, and Music Operation features are not available on the Apple Watch.
  4. Because the Apple Watch Series 1 is not equipped with a GPS receiver, you cannot use it to track your route. However, your step count and distance are saved normally.
  5. You can also use the Apple Watch as a secondary screen to view your data. To do this, go to the profile tab at the top and tap the icon on the right. Now select "Apple Watch."
