WoW Shadowlands: Features of the upcoming expansion explained

The exact release date of Shadowlands has not been set yet, but the expansion is still scheduled for release in 2020. At least the new features are already known and we take a look at them.

Shadowlands will be the eighth expansion to World of Warcraft overall. And as usual, this means a lot of innovations.

WoW Shadowlands: WoW players can look forward to these new features

Here is the overview of the most important innovations of Shadowlands:

• An elementary new feature are the pacts: you can join one of the four pacts (Kyrians, Venthyr, Night Fae, Necrolords) to gain access to the respective refuge. There you will find a campaign, unique quests and class-specific abilities, as well as a mount and other visual rewards.
• The new dungeon that comes into play is Torghast, the Tower of the Damned. This is a real special feature, as the instance is constantly changing and is therefore always playable.
• In Shadowlands, Oribos, the eternal city, will be the central location for players of both factions.
• In total, there are five new zones to explore in the Shadowlands. These are called Bastion, Ardenwald, Maldraxxus, Revendreth and The Maw.

The basic theme of Shadowlands will be the border area between life and death. The atmosphere will thus be very special and also on the new features, for example in the skills, this has an impact.A new class does not come into play with the expansion, but the existing classes are to be greatly changed, which in turn provides a fresh gameplay.
