When you examine your Android smartphone more closely, you will notice that you can find a pre-installed app called "Blurb Checkout". Before you decide to delete this application, you should know what it is all about.

Surely you can use storage space better than for an app you don't necessarily use. Therefore, you should know what the Blurb Checkout app is all about.

• Even older Android models, both smartphones and tablets, from the manufacturer Samsung had a wide range of apps pre-installed. This also includes the app "Blurb".
• Blurb is a digital marketplace for books, catalogs and magazines in digital form. The aim of the app is to organize both the creation, ordering and marketing of the works.
• An example of the benefits of Blurb are photo books. You can record your pictures in a photo album directly from your vacation and also order this as well as have it delivered.

How to delete the application

If you are not interested in the service of Blurb, you can simply deactivate the application. This is because deleting it is only possible with root privileges.

1. Open the device's settings and select the "Options" section. Then click on the "Application Manager".
2. Now select the category installed apps and click on the application "Blurb Checkout". You will now be presented with the options "Uninstall updates" and "Delete data".
3. Select both and then use the "Disable" button to turn off the app. Manually, you can also still remove the app icon from the user interface via the home button.
