Google Chrome: Adblock Plus - what the extension brings

When you open a web page, usually numerous ads are displayed. Among other things, these can cover up important content on the page and are usually very annoying. However, with the help of extensions, such as Adblock Plus, you can reduce or completely avoid them.

What Adblock Plus brings to Google Chrome

You can increase the functionality of Google Chrome browser with the help of extensions. If the constant ads bother you, then you can install Adblock Plus for this purpose. This add-on will suppress ad pop-ups and some overlays. Behavioral tracking over the Internet and viruses are also prevented by the Adblocker.

1. Go to the Chrome website via your Google Chrome browser.
2. Then enter "Adblock Plus" in the search box at the top left. Confirm the request with the Enter key.
3. Normally, the extension is now displayed as the first result. Click on the blue "Add to Chrome" button to add the adblocker.
4. Alternatively, click on the image to get more information. Again, you will find the add button in the top right corner.
