Netflix: New prices 2021 - we have the overview

Just in time for the start of the new year, Netflix has announced that it will raise its prices again. Our guide lists the future costs and reveals which subscriptions are affected - and which are not.

New year, new prices: At the beginning of 2021, there is directly the next increase at Netflix.

Every year, Netflix calls new prices. In 2021, the second increase since the start of the service takes place.

Netflix: Only the basic subscription will not be more expensive in 2021

In terms of the subscription structure and features, everything remains the same. Only the prices will be increased, albeit only for two of the three subscriptions:

• The cheapest subscription called Basic will continue to cost 7.99 euros per month. Use on one device at a time is possible, there is no HD resolution.
• The standard subscription increases by one euro from 11.99 to 12.99 euros. You get FullHD resolution on up to two devices at the same time.
• The Premium subscription is increased by 2 euros - the new price is consequently 17.99 euros. Included are 4K resolution and four devices at the same time.

The entry should thus remain as attractive as before, while the better subscriptions should flush more revenue than ever before into the coffers.
