How to connect two UE Booms? Instructions

If you have a UE Boom speaker, you can connect it not only to a mobile device, but also to a second UE Boom. We explain how to connect two UE Boom directly to the speaker and via the app here.

How to connect the speaker to Bluetooth

If you have a UE Boom speaker, you can connect it wirelessly to a playback device, such as a smartphone or tablet. Before pairing, please make sure the speaker is connected to power and the Bluetooth function is turned on on your mobile device. Then press and hold the "Bluetooth button" on your UE Boom speaker until you hear a beep, and confirm the pairing of the devices by tapping the name of the speaker in the settings on your mobile device.

How to pair two UE Boom

In addition to being able to wirelessly connect your UE Boom speaker to a playback device, you can also pair a second Ultimate Ears brand speaker via Bluetooth.

1. To do this, first make sure that the first speaker is connected to the playback device, as described above, before pressing its Bluetooth and Volume Up button.
2. Then press the "Bluetooth button" twice in succession on the second UE Boom and wait ten seconds for the devices to connect.
3. If you have installed the UE Boom app on your mobile device, the connection of a second Boom Box is also possible through it by tapping "Two Devices" in the app and following the further instructions.
