PowerPoint: Turn off autocorrect - how to do it

Autocorrect is usually very useful, as it clearly highlights typos. But not always these services are desired. Our guide shows how to turn off autocorrect in PowerPoint.

Autocorrect is enabled by default, but it can be easily turned off.

Text content also plays an important role in PowerPoint presentations. If you find autocorrect annoying, you should simply turn it off.

PowePoint: Turn off autocorrect - here's how

Proceed as follows:
  1. Open the "Review" tab in the PowerPoint document.
  2. Click "Language" in the menu and then "Language Settings".
  3. Select the section "Document Review" in the new window.
  4. Click on "AutoCorrect Options".
  5. Determine the desired settings, such as dealing with two capital letters at the beginning of words.
  6. Close the window with "Ok".
Note that by turning off the auto-correction itself, you have to pay better attention to possible errors. In fact, depending on the setting, nothing will be highlighted anymore, which makes life easier for careless mistakes.
