Reddit: Flair adds a personal touch

A flair appears in posts and comments right next to your username. Whether a flair is possible basically depends on the settings of the particular subreddit. Many subreddits allow the assignment of a flair, and this in all subject areas:

• In sports subreddits, for example, you can specify your favorite team via flair.
• In international subreddits, the home country can be specified via flair.
• In gaming subreddits, you can specify your favorite games or characters with the flair.
• It depends on the subreddit whether you can freely design the flair input or whether you have to choose from predefined options.
• In many cases it is necessary to be a subscriber of the subreddit to use the flair feature.

The flairs are always valid only for the respective subreddits - so there is no "general" flair for all of Reddit. Also to note: It happens that you cannot see or open the flair settings in the mobile app. However, this is never a problem in the web view on reddit.com.
