How to create a Reddit avatar

Avatar creation is possible in both the Reddit app and the web view.

• In the app, tap your profile icon in the top left corner to open the options. There in orange now shines the button "Creat an avatar", which you simply have to follow.
• In the browser on reddit.com it goes quite similarly: Click on the top right of the profile icon and then select "Create an avatar".

Thereupon opens a design window, which appears almost unusually modern by Reddit standards. There you can customize your avatar, which is based on the classic Reddit male, with colors and different outfits. For some options you need Reddit Premium, which we have presented in more detail here.The created and saved avatar is then displayed in your profile picture and thus serves as your personification on Reddit in the future.
