Reddit: Live chats instead of direct messages - how to use the feature

Reddit: Chat live for faster communication

In the browser, you can always access the chat directly, as it is firmly anchored in the main bar:

1. Click on the speech bubble icon in the top right corner. This is located just to the left of the letter icon for messages.
2. A chat window will open at the bottom. In this you have the choice between "Rooms", so chat rooms, and "Directs", where direct messages with other people are possible.
3. To start a new chat, click on the bottom left on "Start a chat" and enter the username of the target person.

As a result, the direct correspondence takes place in chat form.
