The professional network LinkedIn allows you to socialize and make connections in a professional environment. An important feature of LinkedIn is sending and receiving messages. If you want to delete a message on LinkedIn, you can do so with just a few clicks.

How to delete a message from the conversation window on LinkedIn

You can delete or edit a message you have sent up to 60 minutes after sending it. If you want to delete the message history between a person and you on LinkedIn, proceed as follows:
  1. Click on the "message icon" and select the conversation you want to delete.
  2. Open the message you want to delete and click on the "three-dot menu" at the top.
  3. Select the "Delete" option and confirm the process by clicking "Yes, delete" again.
  4. The conversation has now been removed from your message history.

How to delete a LinkedIn message in a discussion window

If you would like to delete a message within the discussion in a LinkedIn group, also click on the message in the respective discussion window and select the "Delete" command in the "three-point menu" there. You then confirm this step again by clicking on "Yes, delete".
