Reddit: Block users - how to use the new feature

There are many millions of users on Reddit every day. Inevitably, disagreements arise in the process. If you no longer want to see a user's posts, we explain how you can block them.

Out of sight, out of mind: blocked Reddit users can't bother you any further.

Spamming, trolling and other online manners can't be ruled out on Reddit either. By blocking individual cases, you can remove them from your field of vision.

Reddit: How to block users

In the Reddit app, you block other users as follows:

1. Under a comment or post of the user you want to block, tap on the small field with the three dots.
2. Select "Block account".
3. Confirm the following prompt.

In this you will be informed about the consequences of the action: You can no longer see comments and posts from blocked users and receive direct messages. Only in group chats the posts of the account are still visible. However, the user will not receive a notification that you have blocked the user.
