Invisible content on demand: you can easily block other Twitter profiles.

In social media, it is sometimes advisable to control your environment and take consequences if necessary. On Twitter, this is quite easy to do.

Twitter: Block users - this is how it works

Proceed as follows:
  1. Open the button with the small downward arrow that you see to the right of each tweet of the user. In the user's profile view, open the icon with the three dots.
  2. You will now get the same options in both ways. There you select "Block @username".
  3. It follows a query whether you really want to block the user. With "Block" you confirm the process.
You can then no longer see any content of the user, in addition, he has no way to contact you. The blocked user will not be notified about this; however, he might still notice it, as he will also no longer be able to see any content from you. Also, you will no longer follow each other if that was the case before. An overview of all blocked accounts is also available. You can find this under "Privacy and Security", "Security" and then "Blocked Accounts". There you can also unblock individual profiles, if desired.
