Android 11: Status bar icons - all info at a glance
The status bar of your Android 11 smartphone is one of the most important sources of information. Namely, the icons found there provide information about the battery level or the device's reception, for example. However, not all of the icons have a direct meaning.
An overview of the most important status bar icons
In addition to the time, you can usually find all important information about the device's status in the form of icons in the status bar of your Android 11 smartphone. How exactly the icons look, in addition to the Android version, also depends on which manufacturer the smartphone is.- About the battery icon, you can read the current charge level of the battery. Depending on the settings, the icon is also provided with a percentage display.
- The five bars lined up provide information about the reception strength. The more of the five bars are displayed, the better the signal.
- If you do not have cellular reception, an X is also displayed next to the bars.
- In addition, you can see directly to the left above the cellular bar whether mobile data is activated and which connection (Edge, 3G, LTE or 5G) is used.
- If you are logged into a Wi-Fi network, this is also displayed via the status bar with the typical Wi-Fi icon (dot, from which wavy lines emanate).
