Report a Tweet: How does it work and when is it useful?

The English term for reporting a tweet is "report". The procedure and effect are logically identical regardless of the language.

This is how you report a tweet

To report a tweet, proceed as follows:

1. Click the small down arrow in the top right of the tweet window.
2. From the options that appear, select "Report Tweet".
3. Indicate one of the displayed reasons, for example, "Suspicious or spam" or "It is abusive or hurtful".
4. Answer the further queries.

By your message, the tweet is taken under the microscope and compared with the terms and conditions. If Twitter shares your assessment and detects a violation, it comes to an action. This can be quite different; for example, if it was a clear call to violence or incitement of the people, it is quite possible that the tweet will be removed. In hard cases, even entire accounts can be deleted.
