How to enable two-factor authentication at PayPal

If you want to make your PayPal account more secure, two-factor authentication can help. With this, it is more difficult to log into your account without permission, as your identity is verified twice. However, you must first activate the method.

1. Go to PayPal's website and log in with your credentials.
2. Then click on the gear icon in the top right corner to open the settings.
3. Here, select the menu item "Security".
4. Now go to the button "Two-step verification".
5. Now you have the choice to perform the 2FA either with the help of an SMS or with the authentication app.
