Mobilcom Debitel: Deactivate mailbox - how to do it

If you have a contract with Mobilcom Debitel, your mailbox will also be activated automatically. If you do not want it to come on automatically when someone calls you, then you can deactivate the mailbox in certain situations. All you need is the appropriate speed dial number.

How to deactivate your Mobilcom Debitel mailbox

Mobilcom Debitel is a German mobile phone provider where you can get prepaid cards as well as sign contracts. If you are a Debitel customer, then your mailbox is automatically activated. If you want to deactivate it, Mobilcom offers you various options. You activate the various options with a speed dial.

1. If you want to stop the detour to your mailbox when you are on the phone or the line is busy, enter "##67#" without quotes in the phone app and "call" it.
2. For the second option, enter the string "##62#". This will only stop forwarding to voicemail when your smartphone is turned off.
3. Another option is to disable forwarding to voicemail if you cannot answer the call or have actively declined it. For this option, enter the sequence "##61#".
4. The last option you have, you activate with the speed dial "##002#". This will disable all redirects to the mailbox.
