Two iPhones: Using AirPods the right way

The AirPods were developed by Apple so that you can also listen to music wirelessly with your iOS devices, Apple Watch or Mac. However, you can also connect the wireless headphones to an Android smartphone or a Windows computer. Regardless of which device you want to use your AirPods with, you'll need to connect first.

1. To connect the AirPods to an iPhone, open the device's home screen and hold the open case containing the AirPods next to the iPhone.
2. Wait for a setup animation to appear on the iPhone and tap "Connect" within it.
3. Now follow the further instructions for pairing iPhone and AirPods and finally tap "Done".

This is how you pair your AirPods with a second iPhone

Even if your AirPods are already connected to an iPhone, you can still use them with a second iPhone. In this case, pairing AirPods with the new iPhone is done in the same way as described above, by holding the AirPods in the case next to the iPhone and clicking "Connect". Additionally, when pairing with a second or foreign iPhone, however, it is necessary to confirm the pairing by pressing the button on the back of the case.
