Can AirPods only be used with iPhone?

AirPods are Apple's wireless headphones. These have an integrated W1 chip. If your iPhone is connected to iCloud, connecting the devices takes just a few steps. However, since the headphones work with Bluetooth, it is possible to connect them to other devices without any problems.

How to connect your AirPods not only with iPhones

The connection between your iPhone and AirPods works almost automatically. However, if you don't have an iPhone or a connection to iCloud, you can still connect the headphones to the device. Among other things, you need the connection button on the charging case of your AirPods for this. The connection to an Android device works as follows:

1. Place your AirPods in the charging case of the headphones. Then connect the charging cable.
2. In the next step, open the lid of the case.
3. Now press and hold the sync button on the back of the case until the LED starts flashing white.
4. As long as the headphones are now in pairing mode, go to "Settings" on your Android device and then "Connections". Here, select "Bluetooth" and activate the function.
