The success of Overcooked 2! is due in no small part to the many platforms on which the game has been released. But whether on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintento Switch or PC/Mac, the multiplayer possibilities always remain the same.

Overcooked! 2: More multiplayer variants than in the first part

Multiplayer sessions in Overcooked! 2 are possible locally or online, in all three game modes "Story", "Arcade" and "Versus":

• Locally you can play with up to four people. The special feature: this is possible even with two controllers, because two players can play on one controller.
• If you are alone at home, you can be assigned to other players online thanks to matchmaking.
• Both locally and online you can play cooperatively or against each other.

Compared to the predecessor, the multiplayer options are thus more diverse and that goes down well. By the way, another tip for PC players: the gameplay of Overcooked! 2 clearly favors controllers - so the switch is worthwhile even for die-hard mouse-keyboard gamers.
