The direct insurer Europa is a subsidiary of Continentale Versicherung. In contrast to the competition, at Europa KFZ you get comprehensive car insurance at a small price. In addition to motor vehicle insurance, you can also take out policies in other areas. For example, accident, household and liability insurance policies are offered.

Europa offers two tariff options for the various contracts, the basic tariff and the comfort tariff. In addition to the price, the two differ primarily in the benefits you receive.

• The motor vehicle liability insurance covers a lump sum insured of 100 million euros or 12 million for bodily injury, which is in any case above the statutory minimum sum insured. The comfort tariff additionally offers insurance cover for cars rented in other European countries (so-called Mallorca policy).
• There are significant differences between the tariffs for comprehensive insurance. Here, for example, the comfort tariff covers a replacement value compensation in the event of a total loss for about 18 months after the purchase of a new car. In addition, the comfort tariff offers support for damage caused by animal bites, including consequential damage.

Cancel contract

If you are not satisfied with your contract, you can cancel it. So that the termination also works without problems, you must observe some formalities. It is important that you terminate in writing, a verbal termination is not sufficient. You must also adhere to the notice periods specified in the contract. If you miss them, the contract will be automatically extended for another period. In the termination letter itself, it is important that you mention information such as license plate number, customer/insurance number and the desired termination date.
