Lightroom belongs to the Adobe Photoshop clan and is an image editing program that professionals like to use. The name Lightroom is an umbrella term for all of Adobe's image editing and image management programs. Lens correction can be done with Lightroom.

How to perform a lens correction with Lightroom?

When you have a lens or perspective error, the initial annoyance is great. But you can perform a lens correction in Lightroom not for individual photos, but even for an entire photo collection.
  1. Open any photo and go to the "Develop" module. If you have previously edited the photo in Lightroom, you can click on "reset", to return it to its original state.
  2. Go to "Object Correction" in the menu and use the option "Enable Lens Corrections". The lens used will be automatically detected from the photo file and the change will be made directly. You will see this in a preview on the screen.
  3. Lightroom supports some lenses by default. However, you can also create your own default. To do this, click on the plus sign in the left corner of the screen and give the preset a name. Now activate "Select nothing" and then "Lens Correction".
  4. With the preset you can directly edit several images in Lightroom.
You can also set the lens correction as default. To do this, do the following after the second step: Click "Develop > Set Defaults" in the top left corner, and then click "Update at Current Settings."
