Adobe Lightroom: Installing Presets

With the tools in Adobe Lightroom you can easily edit your photos. Once you have found a look you like, save it as a so-called preset or template. You can also import presets from other users into Lightroom and use them for your images.

How to install presets in Adobe Lightroom CC

You can find numerous preset packages online. Many of these packages are available for free, but some you must purchase before you can use them. Depending on what version of Lightroom you're using, you'll proceed in different ways to import presets.To import presets in the current Creative Cloud version of Lightroom, follow these steps:

1. Start Adobe Lightroom CC.
2. Click File in the top-left navigation.
3. Select Import Profiles and Presets from the context menu.
4. Now navigate to the presets location and select the respective presets.
5. Confirm by clicking "Import".

Adobe Lightroom Classic: Install Presets

1. Start Lightroom Classic.
2. Switch to the "Develop" window.
3. On the left you will see the "Presets". Klicken Sie auf das Plus-Symbol neben „Vorgaben“.
4. Wählen Sie im Kontextmenü den Punkt „Importieren“ aus.
5. Navigieren Sie anschließend zu den heruntergeladenen Presets und wählen sie das entsprechende Preset aus.
6. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl, indem Sie auf „Importieren“ klicken.
