Google: restore account - how to do it

With your Google account you have access to many features like the calendar or access to an email account. If you accidentally or deliberately delete your Google account, you have the option to restore it. It depends on how long ago the operation took place.

If you have deleted your account with Google, there is still a possibility to restore it. Depending on how long ago it happened, you may or may not get access to your data again.

1. Go to Google's account recovery website. This is also possible from your smartphone browser.
2. Enter your email address or optionally your phone number if you have one in your account.
3. Click "Next" and then confirm again with "Next".
4. Now you need to enter the last password used and confirm with "Next".
5. Once the password is verified, your account will be restored. If you have forgotten your password click on the button "Choose other option". You will then receive an email or SMS with a confirmation code.
6. Now enter a new password for your account.
7. Adjust your security settings. Then you can access your account as usual.
