Apple Watch: Zoom - how it works

How to enable zoom on the Apple Watch

If the display on your Apple Watch is too small for you, you can easily enlarge the displayed content thanks to the zoom function. However, to use the zoom on your Apple Watch, it is necessary to activate the function beforehand.
  1. To do this, simply open the Settings app on your Apple Watch by tapping the gear icon on the home screen.
  2. In the Settings, then navigate to "Operating aids" > "Zoom" and turn on the function.
  3. Alternatively, the activation of the zoom is also possible via the iPhone paired with the Apple Watch, by going to "My Watch" > "Operating aids" > "Zoom" in the Apple Watch app.

How to use the zoom function on the Apple Watch

If the zoom function is activated on the Apple Watch, you can use it anywhere on the device. To do so, simply double-tap the smartwatch's display with two fingers to zoom in or out. By moving two fingers on the display or turning the Digital Crown, you can move the zoomed-in area to the right, left, up or down. In addition, there is the possibility to adjust the maximum zoom level by going to "My Watch" > "Operating aids" > "Zoom" in the Apple Watch app on the iPhone and moving the slider accordingly.
