Uninstall Star Citizen: How to get rid of all files

Star Citizen is not an ordinary game and it even shows when it comes to installation and file management. If you need the space for other content, we will show you how to uninstall Star Citizen.

If you look for Star Citizen in the list of installed programs, you will not find it there. To uninstall the space adventure, other ways are necessary.

Uninstalling Star Citizen: You need to delete these folders

Uninstalling Star Citizen is not really complicated, as you only need to delete all the folders containing the game files. In doing so, it is advisable to find all the folders:

• First, delete the "rsilauncher" folder, which you can find in the "User\AppData\Roaming" path on your Windows partition.
• Then, delete the "Star Citizen" folder, which you can find in "User\AppData\Local".
• Finally, only the main folder is left. You can find this in the installation path that you have set yourself. Just delete the entire folder there.

After that, both RSI Launcher and the game are gone from your hard drive. For safety's sake, empty the recycle bin to remove any leftovers as well.
