How to activate "Ok Google" directly in the app

"Ok Google" is Google's answer to Apple's Siri. The prerequisite for the voice function is the Google app, which is installed by default on every Android device.

1. In the app, please tap on your profile picture to open the "Settings".
2. Navigate there to "Assistant" > "Smartphone" and tap "Hey Google" under "Voice Match".

More options with "Ok Google"

Directly below you will find another option, namely "On any screen". This enables voice input on any screen - even when the smartphone or tablet is charging.
