Record cell phone screen - depends on operating system

You can record the screen as well as the sound on your cell phone. How this works depends on the operating system you have installed on your phone. While you need additional programs on Android or Windows devices, the function is already integrated on iOS.

This is how cell phone screen recording works

For a screen recording of an Android phone, there is an app called "AZ Screen Recorder" in the Google Play Store. After installation, proceed as follows for a recording:

1. Open AZ Screen Recorder for the first time, first slide the slider "Show above other apps" to the right.
2. Then close the app and open it again.
3. You start a recording by tapping the camera icon now.
4. You stop the recording by swiping from top to bottom and tapping on the stop icon.

On the iPhone record the screen

On the iPhone you do not need an app to record the phone screen.

1. On an iPhone you easily create a screen recording with sound. Add the function for this first to the control center.
2. Navigate on the phone to "Settings" > "Control Center" > "Customize Controls" and tap next to "Screen Recording" on "+".
3. In the control center is now an icon in the form of a circle with a dot. Tap this icon to start screen recording. By tapping on "Microphone Audio", you can also record the sound in addition to the image.
4. To stop recording, tap on the red status bar and select the "Stop" option.
