iPhone X: Record screen - here's how to do it
If you want to record a screen on your iPhone X, you can do so using the new recording function. Since iOS 11 or newer versions of the operating system, Apple allows you to record the screen including sound from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch using on-board tools.
Start screen capture - here's how
To start a screen capture on your iPhone X, follow these steps:- Go to the "Settings" app on your iPhone and select the "Control Center" item.
- Tap there on the option "Customize controls" and then on the green plus next to the item "Screen capture".
- Now call the control center on your iPhone X. To do this, swipe from the top right to the bottom of your screen.
- Press the recording icon (circle with dot) until a new overview appears. Set whether you want to record with active microphone.
- Tap on "Start recording". After a short countdown, it will start. Close the Control Center and open the app you want to record.
- To stop recording, either tap the red status bar at the top of the screen or call up the Control Center again.
