Zoom: Create a room - how to set it up
If you want to create a new room in Zoom, it works without much effort via the Zoom web portal. There you will find various customization options, such as calendar integration. You can learn how to set up and customize a new room yourself here.
How to create a room in Zoom
In order to create a room in Zoom, you need a user account with the appropriate permission. You can get this either by signing up for a Zoom Rooms subscription yourself or by getting an account with the appropriate permission through your employer, for example.- Go to the Zoom website in your browser and log in to your user account with your details.
- Once you have logged in, click on "Room Management" in the navigation on the left and then on "Zoom Rooms".
- There, select the option "Add room".
- Name the room and add a calendar integration if necessary and set the room type.
- Once you are done, either click "Finish" or if you want to create more rooms, click "Save and add another one".
