Excel to PDF: How to convert the file format

If you want to manage data sets or create charts, using Microsoft's Excel spreadsheet program is a good choice. To easily send the spreadsheet to others, even if they don't have Excel, you can export the file as a PDF.

How to convert an Excel spreadsheet to a PDF

In Excel, you have many functions at your disposal to edit your data or display it differently. When you save the file, it is usually done in "XSLX" format. This is set by default in the program. This way you can open the files with Excel at any time. However, if you want to send them to a person who does not have Excel, then it is worth saving the file as a PDF.

1. Open the Excel file that you want to save as a PDF.
2. Then click the "File" button at the top of the tab. Nun öffnet sich eine weitere Ansicht.
3. Auf der linken Seite klicken Sie jetzt auf die Option „Exportieren“.
4. Wählen Sie „PDF/XPS-Dokument erstellen“ aus und gehen Sie anschließend auf der rechten Seite auf „PDF/XPS-Dokument erstellen“.
5. Es öffnet sich ein weiteres Fenster. Hier können Sie einen Dateinamen eingeben und den Speicherort für die PDF angeben. Klicken Sie dann auf „Veröffentlichen“.
6. Die PDF finden Sie am ausgewählten Speicherort.
