Thunderbird send button missing - what you can do

From time to time it happens that the send button in Mozilla Thunderbird has disappeared. The reason for the disappearance does not necessarily have to be a program error, but can also be the result of incorrect view options.

Send buttons gone: this may be the reason

Faulty addons or program errors after a version update may be responsible for the disappearance of icon and menu bars in Thunderbird.

1. Disable all addons via the addon management and restart Thunderbird.
2. Alternatively, you can also start Thunderbird in safe mode, there all addons are automatically disabled. To do this, close Thunderbird first, then hold down the Shift key and double-click the Thunderbird icon to start the program.
3. Should this have solved the problem, you can turn on the extensions again in turn to find out which is responsible for the disappearance.
4. Also check whether you are connected to the Internet. If Thunderbird is in offline mode, you will not see a Send button, as no mails can be sent.

How to show the Send button again
