The Outer Worlds' Perk system is structured as follows:- You can set a Perk point at every even level you reach, starting at level 2.
- Overall, Perks are divided into three tiers. To use level 2 perks, you must have set at least five points in the first level perks. After another five points in level 2, the perks of the third level are open to you.
- Logical: The higher the level, the more effective the respective perks are.
- The perks cover different areas, for example, the increase of damage, better healing abilities, lower detection by enemies or more effective dialogue skills.
