The Outer Worlds: Steam fans will have to wait

Currently, the state of affairs looks as follows:

• The Outer Worlds is released on October 25, 2019 for all platforms (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC).
• PC players, however, can not access Steam, but only at Epic Games or directly at Microsoft in the store, since Obsidian Entertainment belongs to the software giant since 2018.
• A Steam release is to take place, but only much later. 2020 is considered certain, but there is no fixed date yet.

Some experts assume that Epic Games has bought the exclusive rights again for a year, as was already the case with other games. On Steam, according to this calculation, The Outer Worlds would not take place until October 2020; however, this remains a guess until an official statement is made.
