Reinstall Internet Explorer 11

Although Microsoft's Internet Explorer is no longer under development, it is still one of the pre-installed programs on Windows 10. If you have problems running Internet Explorer 11, it may be helpful to reinstall the browser.

How to do it with Windows 7: Reinstall Internet Explorer 11

If you are using the Windows 7 operating system, you can easily uninstall Internet Explorer 11 and then download it fresh:

1. Open the Start menu and enter "Installed Updates" in the search.
2. Then select the search result "Show Installed Updates".
3. Search for Internet Explorer 11 in the list and uncheck the box.
4. Press "OK" to close the window.
5. After that, you can download the latest version of Internet Explorer 11 here.
6. Run the installation file and follow the instructions to reinstall IE.

Reinstall Internet Explorer with Windows 10

With Windows 10, you can't uninstall the browser - but disabling and reinstalling it does the same thing as reinstalling it. Fehler werden behoben und die Einstellungen zurückgesetzt.
