  1. To do this, you will need the operating system's terminal, which can be opened most quickly by pressing the "Ctrl" + "Alt" + "T" keys on your keyboard simultaneously.
  2. Now enter in the terminal first the command "sudo -i" and your password to get root access to the PC.
  3. Then run first the command "apt-get upgrade" to update the package lists and then the command "apt-get upgrade" to update the entire computer. Finally, confirm the process by pressing "Y".

Now you can begin with the installation of Discord, which is also done via the terminal. Here, it is first necessary to download the program to your Ubuntu PC.
