How to install Recuva on your computer

Recuva is a program that helps you when important data, such as files, music tracks or photos, have disappeared from your computer. With the free tool Recuva, you can easily search for the lost data and recover it. To use the program, first download it to your PC or laptop. Then unzip the program folder by right-clicking it and selecting "Unzip to...".

How to recover files using Recuva

Once you have downloaded and unzipped Recuva to your computer, please launch the program by double-clicking the file "Recuva.exe".

1. The program will then start and ask you what kind of files you want to recover.
2. It also requires you to specify where the lost files were last stored. If you do not know this, please select the option "I'm not sure" so that the entire PC is scanned.
3. Once you confirm with "Next", the scan will start and your computer will be searched for the lost files.
4. Once the scan is complete, you will receive a list of all files found and can recover them by placing a check next to the respective file.
