Amazon: Kindle eBook return - so it works

Even with digital products, returns with refund are often possible. This also applies to eBooks purchased from Amazon for your Kindle. Our guide shows how the return works.

Two weeks time: To return an eBook at Amazon, you must not wait too long.

Amazon is generally considered very accommodating with returns and refunds. Fortunately, this is also evident with Kindle eBooks.

Amazon: How to return a Kindle eBook

You can return a Kindle eBook within 14 days of purchase. This is done in the browser as follows:

1. Go to https://www.amazon.de/mycd to see your content.
2. Click on the small button to the left of the title you want to return.
3. Select "Return for refund".
4. For security, you need to reconfirm the return.

On the Kindle it is also possible: there you need to find the eBook in the library and press on the cover until a context menu appears. Then you can select "Return book".In both cases, it takes about three to five days until you get the purchase price refunded.
