Normally, Bluetooth headphones have a power button that allows you to turn them off. Apple AirPods, on the other hand, do not have such a button. However, there is another way to turn off the headphones. All you need for this is the case that comes with the AirPods.

How to turn off your AirPods

Most Bluetooth headphones have a power button that lets you turn them off so the devices don't consume any more power. Apple's AirPods also have a high power consumption. For this reason, it is worth turning off the AirPods when you are not using the headphones.

1. The AirPods do not have their own switch with which you can turn them off.
2. In addition, it is not possible to turn off the headphones by using the AirPod settings on your mobile device. If you use the settings, you only turn off the double-tap function with which you activate the voice control.
3. If you still want to turn off your AirPods to save power, then put them in the supplied case.
4. Then close the case. Die AirPods schalten sich nun automatisch aus.
