Cancel Otelo: How to proceed

Otelo advertises with favorable conditions and good network coverage. But this also applies to numerous competitors, which means that you are spoiled for choice when choosing your mobile provider. If you currently use Otelo, but want to cancel your contract there, it is important to keep an eye on the cancellation period.

The classic way: cancel Otelo by mail

Most cell phone contracts run for 24 months and often have a notice period of several months. Also with Otelo applies: you should submit a written notice at least three months before the expiration of the current contract, otherwise the contract is automatically extended by 24 months.

1. There are numerous templates for the termination letter of a cell phone contract.
2. What should be included in any case, however: Your customer details, a clear wording that you want to terminate your contract at the earliest possible date and a signature.
3. You send this letter either to the address of the customer service of Otelo (otelo-Team, c/o Vodafone GmbH, 40878 Ratingen) or by e-mail to [email protected].

How to cancel your Otelo contract online

In the meantime, however, you can also conveniently cancel online with Otelo. To do this, log in with your access data in your Otelo account and there you can directly arrange the termination of your contract at the next possible date.
