Telegram trumps with its secret chat feature, easy group creation and high level of privacy. The popular chat app also lets you create a poll in a group with a few clicks. This allows members to quickly and easily vote on meeting places, times or other things.

How to go about creating a poll on Telegram

As easy as you create a channel on Telegram, creating a poll also works:

1. Install Telegram and open the app.
2. Select the group in which you want to start a poll and click on the "paperclip icon".
3. Now tap on "Poll" and enter the question and the answer options (maximum ten).
4. Under the settings, you can also choose whether the voting is anonymous and whether multiple answers are possible.
5. After submitting, the poll is visible to all group members.

How to turn a Telegram poll into a quiz

Instead of a classic poll, you can also use this feature to create a quiz on Telegram. Hierfür nutzen Sie einfach im Einstellungsmenü der Umfrage den Schiebregler unter dem Punkt „Quiz“. Telegram hat mittlerweile eine Quiz-Liste, an der jeder Nutzer teilnehmen kann.
