Universal Studios Japan is working on the new theme park that will open in 2020 in Japan: you will be able to play with Super Mario karts
To celebrate the laying of the foundation stone of the Super Nintendo World playground in Japan, Universal Studios Japan has released a teaser video to explain how it will be the amusement park of the dreams of many video game fans. And as many expected in the park there will also be Mario Kart.
The news certainly does not surprise anyone. Mario Kart is one of the most successful titles, and more in vogue, home Nintendo. Certainly the possibility to play it physically will tickle the fantasy of many gamers and not. As the various documents and patents suggest, the game should be structured in pairs. One player will be driving the karts, while his partner will be collecting and using weapons and tools. It will take, however, still some time before physically testing Mario Kart in Japan. In fact, the Nintendo park will open just before the Olympics in Japan scheduled to take place in Tokyo in 2020.

The teaser video doesn't actually explain either what Mario Kart will look like or what the amusement park will be like. However, it is clear from the brief images that both Peach's and Bowser's castles will be faithfully reproduced. There is curiosity as to whether these structures will be used for restaurants and stores or for themed games. Based on the success of the Japanese park, according to various sources, the amusement park could also be replicated in the United States, in Hollywood or Orlando. For those who can't wait three more years, there is a solution. A new game signed Super Mario in 3D will be released soon. It won't be the same as driving a real kart along with Luigi and Mario himself, but it's still a nice step forward.
