Vivo X70 Pro+ is official, and for the company represents more than just a top of the range. The X70 Pro+ is in fact the first product with the newly developed chip that we've covered here in depth: it integrates the new Vivo V1, an ISP that has seen the collaboration of Zeiss, through which the company is sure to get super photos.

And it is precisely the photo department in fact to be one of the most interesting aspects of Vivo X70 Pro+. The company has teamed up with Zeiss, which has led to the use of ultra-high transmittance lenses with Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating, there is the Vivo V1 chip that makes extensive use of artificial intelligence to manage image processing and according to the company consumes less power than a chip of equal level of competition. Not to mention that all four cameras are equipped with image stabilization: optical on half of the sensors, digital on the rest, which is defined on the ultra-wide-angle gimbal stabilization, so it should offer very smooth videos in all conditions.

Vivo X70 Pro+, technical specifications

Vivo X70 Pro+ is based on the most powerful chip to date in the Qualcomm range, the Snapdragon 888+, octa core at 2.99 GHz, supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage space without the possibility of expanding the memory.

The display of Vivo X70 Pro+ is undoubtedly one of the most valuable aspects of the smartphone: it is an LTPO-type AMOLED manufactured by Samsung, with 6.78-inch Quad HD+ resolution with curved edges, 120 Hz refresh rate and integrated fingerprint reader.

Of absolute merit is the photo compartment which, removing the 32 MP front camera for selfies, puts four sensors at your disposal: a wide-angle Samsung Isocell GN1 50-megapixel f/1.57 with optical stabilization and Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating, a 48-megapixel, 114-degree Sony IMX589 ultra wide-angle with gimbal stabilization, a 12-megapixel 2x telephoto portrait lens, and finally an 8-megapixel periscope-structure telephoto lens with 4-axis optical stabilization, 60x Super Zoom, 5x optical zoom, and laser autofocus.

Nothing is missing on the connectivity front, with Dual SIM support with Dual 4G LTE and 5G (Dual-Mode), A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB-C. There's IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, while the Vivo X70 Pro+ arrives with the Origin 1.0 user interface based on Android 11, which will certainly be updated to Android 12 when it becomes available.

Not surprising for capacity is the battery, which is 4,500 mAh with wired fast charging at 50 watts: good values, but today some of the competition does better. Surprising instead the power of wireless fast charging, which can reach 50 watts and is a very high value indeed and rare to find in the competition.
